Our Community Project (OCP) is a Port Kembla-based, not-for-profit community organization dedicated to empowering locals through social enterprise, people-centered innovation, and community development. Located at the Port Kembla Community Centre, OCP fosters local resilience, equity, and social action by managing key services like Tender Funerals, No Interest Loans (NILs), and Green Connect.

South Coast and Tablelands (SC&T) Scouts is a regional branch of Scouts NSW covering the area from Helensburgh to the Victorian border, including Wollongong, Goulburn, and the Snowy Mountains. It provides outdoor adventure, leadership, and scouting activities for youth aged 6–25 across 41 groups.

Red Point Arts in Port Kembla is a vibrant, member-run arts cooperative and hub located at 100 Wentworth Street, New South Wales. It serves as a creative space for artists, artisans, and students to work, share ideas, and showcase their work, offering affordable studios, exhibition galleries, workshops, and monthly Makers' Markets.
